The idea of this challenge is to let a piece of music inspire your muse. I suggest listening to the music and then creating but sometimes creating with the music playing is good too. Whichever way works if you are so inspired to create please put the following link in your post

There was a time when I could not believe
you could deceive me with your winner's smile
but that was while my heart took time to grieve
and to receive all care that was worthwhile

I learned from deep within your pain
there is no gain worth tears I weep
and here I grew to find my strength
my own length, without you…

I was going to write a post somehow commemorating and commenting upon the sign of Taurus, before the Sun left it (which it has done now), pulling in the start of Summer in a Venusian sign, and the festival of Beltane which happened on May eve with its coupling and amorous and fertile themes, and thinking about some rather red goddesses.

The long years of how and when, where and why
My daughters have grown to be wise and strong
It’s still not easy to tell them good-bye

My daughters have grown to be wise and strong
And like the gods they’re born to lead the way
They roar ‘prrumphs’ to call the clan along

And like the gods they’re born to lead the way…

Today’s question is:

Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” – the White Queen, Alice in Wonderland.

What are the six impossible things you believe in? (If you can only manage one or two, that’s also okay)

As always there are no rules if it inspires you create something.

If you create something please include the following link on your post so it pings back to here…

Book Review – Donec Alius Diei by Laura Lamarca

Laura Lamarca is a remarkably talented writer and poet. Her observations come from the heart and soul of living her life into words to capture and enchant the reader so that one feels every emotion expressed in her poetry.

“Let me sit with you. What shadows
surround my sorrows.
The shadows are cold – they won’t warm
the hurting of my heart.”

These opening lines of ‘Survial’s Sonata’ tore into my heart and I knew I was in for an emotional roller coaster, but what an absolute treat of a ride.

As a fellow writer she leaves me wishing ‘I had written that,’ but no matter how intense the emotional whirlpool she sends me on I never wish I had not read that. In fact Laura’s poetry is poetry that I read again and again knowing in some way it will change me.

If you do nothing else today I recommend you bring ‘Donec Alius Diei’ into your life – you won’t regret it!

DONEC ALIUS DIEI (Until Another Day) is an eclectic mixture of styles and themes from the pen of Laura Lamarca. Written from the heart, Laura explores a number of personal thoughts and feelings and in doing so,defines her own voice whilst evoking situations and emotions people will be able to relate to.

Lone sentry
in dignified repose,
you tower in the distance with
graceful persistence. Patient through
rain or sun still standing when day is done
beneath the natal stars that bloom like springtime flowers
or loitering gloom that winter brings and summer eves when
sparrows sing. Deeply rooted, older and bolder, veins burn with
the blood of the seasons and rings bear age yet unresigned…

By Jueseppi B.

This case shows the public what a corrupt judicial system we have. How can anyone expect to be treated fairly in our court today. The government is upset about the IRS, that’s not news, its been happening for many years to the little man. What about Judges and Prosecutors sending innocent men to prison and nothing is done about it.
